Minimum Safe Distance — Always maintain a shooter's Minimum Safe Distance of 30 feet for handguns, 50 yards for rimfire rifles, and 150 yards for centerfire rifles. Do not get closer than these distances to any Lewis Targets.

Never fire a gun under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

To reduce the likelihood of (a) bullet ricochet, DO NOT USE Jacketed ammo.

All shooters must be trained & qualified in the proper and safe use of firearms.

Life Size Prairie Dog Steel Targets in a classic pose — the standard prairie dog comes with a white body and without a flapper. As a "No Charge" option you can order the target with a black body. The stand on the target is 12" deep and is permanently welded. You can also order this target with a single Round Flapper for additional charge as indicated. The color of the flapper will be opposite of the body color. The prairie dog is made of 1/2" AR500 Steel and stands 19" tall.

Hardened steel plates can not accept rounds faster than 3000 fps ammo.

A classic pose prairie dog target — the standard prairie dog comes with a white body and without a flapper. As a "No Charge" option you can order the target with a black body. The stand on the target is 12" deep and is permanently welded. You can also order this target with a single Round Flapper for additional charge as indicated. The color of the flapper will be opposite of the body color.

The prairie dog target is made of 1/2" AR500 steel and stands 19" tall.
