Minimum Safe Distance — Always maintain a shooter's Minimum Safe Distance of 30 feet for handguns, 50 yards for rimfire rifles, and 150 yards for centerfire rifles. Do not get closer than these distances to any Lewis Targets.

Never fire a gun under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

To reduce the likelihood of (a) bullet ricochet, DO NOT USE Jacketed ammo.

Shooting Star target adds another exciting skill element — A Moving Target. The target plates on the shooting star are held in place by spring tension so when a plate is struck it will fall off the target. When the plate falls off the weight of the remaining plates offset the weight distribution and the star will rotate to balance its weight.

The plates are 8" round. The plates and the star are made 5/16" mild steel and are designed for handgun use.

The stand is heavy-duty square tubing with bullet splitter design on front for years of use. The shooting star can be easily re-painted for easy shot pattern identification.
